The Clay Center of New Orleans is a nonprofit ceramic art center that serves to grow, support and elevate ceramic art and artists by bringing high-quality exhibitions, education, outreach, and professional opportunities to the city of New Orleans.
The Clay Center was founded to increase the amount of ceramic art education, exhibition, and professional opportunities available in New Orleans, as well as to provide local artists with greater access to ceramic supplies and facilities.
Byrdie’s Pottery

Byrdie’s is a non-profit community ceramics studio in New Orleans. Located in the Marigny neighborhood of New Orleans since 2010, Byrdie’s is a place for the community to explore clay arts. We offer classes, membership, and a storefront shop for members to sell their pottery.

MessArts is a community minded visual arts education program for all ages. We facilitate a collaborative studio environment which balances rigor and play. MessArts teaching makes fine arts and craft approachable in order to enrich and challenge our understanding of art.
